picked up some goodies

I am gathering a nice ceramics collection from ... you guessed it, Ebay.

Knowledge and patience pay off. Having worked in clay for many years, having studied it is paying off now. I know the names, I know the work. So when a Beatrice Wood shows up under art pottery. I judge quickly if it is or is not real. just a signature is not enough. I can recognize the thing. Then I bid accordingly. I got a Beatrice Wood on eBay for a hundred bucks. This happened years ago and the mama of Dada was still alive. I dare say the little vase is worth $5,000 now. I see her work at real auctions such as Sotheby's . pieces similar to mine go for $3k and more. But as my father and I say, it's only worth what someone will pay.

link and photos to come when Jason gives mr a lesson.

Hey, Sam if you tune in shot me an email. I lost your address. More to come on literature, my search for an agent, and broken computers.
